Practices will be Monday, January 25th and Monday, February 1st Meet 5 Topics Meet 5 practice tests
Meet 4: Jan 11 at Monticello
The bus will leave for Monticello at 2:15 and we should expect to return between 6-6:15 pm
2nd Meet: Home meet at TG on November 23rd:
practice on Monday November 9th
testing for Varsity team will be on Monday November 16th
Event practice tests and notes are available for pick up in room 406
First Meet Results:
TG improved their first meet results by 16 points! The team scored 20 points out of 24 on the team test--the best ever in the past 3 years!
It was a great start to our season and we look forward to seeing strong results throughout the year. Students that missed this first meet can make up the tests with Mrs. Fagan, which can give you points toward lettering and provide results that are used in determining teams.
Tuesday, October 13th
First math team practice was yesterday--nice turnout and many students that are still in tennis, soccer, cross country and football indicated they would be joining once their season is over
Topics of discussion: Wiki, t-shirts (orders will be taken over the next 2 weeks), auction (math team basket this yr)
The team started off the year with 6 problems from "Math Contest" --2-3 were really challenging!!
